Issue: When playing using a keyboard, if you press Esc to pull up the menu, mouse/touch ceases to function.
Steps to reproduce:
- Connect a keyboard (and optionally, mouse) to iPad.
- Open up Minecraft and go into a world.
- Press Esc to pull up the menu.
- Even if you press Esc again to close menu and go back into the game, mouse/touch will not function (keyboard will).
Quick fixes:
- Open and close Control Center.
- Open and close the App switcher.
- Open and close Notification Center twice.
Further information:
I don’t know what is causing the issue, but as a fellow developer, I believe that pressing Esc may be activating some iPadOS feature that affects the entire screen. When I’m in the menu screen and the mouse is not working, I can click/tap and hold and the screen will sort of zoom in, as if I’m about to drag and drop.
