      Summary-
I have noticed that in the recent update that sometimes when the player loses all their all hearts due to damage, the player does not always die. it just remains showing the empty hearts, but eventually they regenerate back

Till now I know that the platforms affected are Minecraft Bedrock Edition and Pocket Edition

I have encountered this bug on both multiplayer servers and singleplayer worlds including ones with multiplayer switched off.

Do note: This bug does not appear every time the player loses all HP so the steps to recreate the bug may not be guaranteed work all the time

      Steps To Reproduce-
      1) join a world (singleplayer/multiplayer)

      2) take damage until you get to 0 HP (preferably half a heart)

      3) there is a chance that you dont have any HP yet you are still alive

      4) if you dont die on step 2 then you will slowly regenerate health

One more thing to note is that this bug occurs in the normal gameplay without any Addons or modifications to the game or to how the HP system works
