I tried 1v1 skeleton without armor and with low HP. I killed him, but he also dealt fatal damage to me. For some reason, I didn't die, but left with 0 HP.

Pausing and/or Alt-Tabbing seems to have no effect on this bug. Moreover, with enough food points, regeneration works, and you can regen from 0 HP.
