Windows
I was playing on my PC while my friend connected to my world via Nintendo switch. I have some add-ons active on this world (Dragonfire Lite, Another Furniture Add-On, Gravestones, and All the Wool Add-On), but I've never had problems with any of them before. I got on a tamed dragon from the Dragonfire Lite add-on and just as I got in the air, the game completely froze, including both the graphics and sound. I thought it was just a lag spike, which I have gotten occasionally, and took my hands off the keyboard and mouse to give the game time to catch up, when the window just closed.
I opened the launcher thinking it was some kind of no-response restart, but instead of "play," the big, green button in the Minecraft for Windows tab said "install," like I was getting the game for the first time. I clicked it and it changed to "waiting on install," where its been for the past few minutes and doesn't show any signs of progress.
I texted my friend to ask what it looked like on her end, and she said she was kicked from the world with the message "host disconnected from server please reconnect," and that her worlds still work fine, so I'm pretty certain this is just an issue on my end, but I can't figure out what.
