Brief pausing at random intervals during gameplay at times it feels like the game continues in the background for about 1-2 seconds before the screen refreshes. 

I have seen the same behavior where the issue is more severe. The screen will pause during a save game operation. At this point, the entire PS5 OS hangs. It is not possible to exit to any menus in the game or on the OS. Forcing a reset by pressing the power button on the console. Once restarted, the PS5 OS will attempt to repair all storage devices connected to the console.

It is possible that this causes corruption of saved games, forcing the cloud copy to be downloaded. This impacts the gaming experience as it has the potential to cause game time to be lost since the last good save. 

Looking for any error messages logged in the PS5 OS shows no errors to report and no issues. This is likely due to the OS hanging and not being able to log diagnostic information leading up to the crash. 

I have uninstalled MineCraft. Downloaded it again and installed on different storage but the issue persists.
