Realms seem to be lagging when more than two people are around exploring the server.

Hey there! I hope this is the correct place to report this. But here’s what I’m dealing with.

I have had a realms plus subscription for about 3 years now. I have a ten player realm. And the realm size is about 3.2 gigs. But when flying around the world with an elytra a lot of people in the realm talk about seeing ghost chunks. Which are chunks that have already been visted that’s a desert let’s say. When you fly into the desert at first it’ll load in a cherry blossom biom that isn’t actually there. Then it’ll load the desert that’s supposed to be there. This happens frequently in the realm. And as of right now I don’t have any videos of it. I can take one later to show.

as for the lag. The realm does seem to lag quite often. Especially when there are more than two people on. If everyone is off exploring somewhere they will all feel lag. For example of the lag you feel. It might be when you’re eating food. The food didn’t count as ate when the eating animation is complete. Or opening inventory of chests or other items with inventory. It takes a few moments to show said inventory even after the chest opening animation is done. Sometimes when you mine blocks the blocks won’t drop for a few moments as well.

at the moment I’m unsure if this is something that’s fixable now perhaps. Or if there’s any plans on realms being upgraded in the future to have better support for bigger servers/worlds.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. Please let me know if there’s anything that can be done now to fix this.
