      What is the bug?

The bug is that you can use the mace to hit entities that are similar to mobs, which should not happen.
The point of the mace is to be used as a weapon on mobs and players only, but for some reason, as shown below, it can also affect when you hit boats, for example.

      How to replicate the bug?

To replicate this bug, you will need:

      • boat
      • anvil
      • wind burst III enchantment book (or other enchantment of your preference just for better visualization)
      • the mace

      Then:

      1. open the anvil menu
      2. Add the mace with the enchantment book you chose
      3. place a boat down
      4. go really high up
      5. Hold the mace
      6. Jump off on purpose and try to hit the boat you just placed while holding the mace in your hand

      And there you have it!

      Expected Results:

When hitting an entity like the boat with the mace, nothing should happen. Or at least nothing should happen if you're using the Wind Burst III enchantment. In other words, the mace, when used on entities like the boat, should not negate fall damage.

Example put into practice of the Expected Results:

When you land your hit on a mob with the mace, it negates all your fall damage, but you should not be able to save yourself because you hitted on a boat. For example, you can still clutch right clicking on the boat, but you shouldn't use the mace to save yourself by hitting on a boat if there aren't any other mobs around.

      Notes:

I haven't tried to do this on other things, for it might be harder to perform the bug.
The bug seems to happen because there isn't a correct specification on what the mace can or should hit (even though I haven't looked through the code). I highly suggest checking if this happens to other things and/or if it happens in "Minecraft: Java Edition" (I just tried it recently with a boat and it didn't work).

For a better understanding of the bug, the following attachments below show what should not happen in the game, which happens to be what is currently happening in the game.

I hope this edited bug report can help with a better understanding of the bug. Thank you so much for your time, and I hope you have a great day.
