Minecraft does not work properly on the Nintendo Switch for me. I am having serious issues, with microsoft account and nintendo switch online account connections. The game rarely connects properly to both or one of them, there is always an issue via the connection. This is very bad and the game can’t be played online or access marketplace, as advertised, and does not work properly 90% of the time, because of the very bad connection to Microsoft Account and NSO. No, the issue is not at my end all other games work online properly and fine on the Switch.

Although, the issue lies in Nintendo Switch Online connection to Microsoft Account. While connecting to online servers it crashes and I am unable to play on online servers, even If I somehow am, the proper skin does not show but Is defaulted to Regular Steve rather than the correct skin I chose.

It is also why - I hesitate to buy the game on my PC now, due to Nintendo having such issues with Microsoft account and their NSO service.

I would ask, that this issue on Nintendo be fixed ASAP. There are many, many players on Nintendo Switch, who probably are not reaching out due to not having proper resources.

And many of these players quit, and are upset - which is bad for Minecraft as  a whole. Theris also many reported cases of these issues happening online, same issue as I am having.*
