Nintendo Switch
Hello, I've been having trouble connecting to online multiplayer via the Nintendo Switch. I was able play and connect just fine to for a few days when I first purchased the game (5/16/24) but after some lag and server issues (online world play and marketplace not working) I haven't been able to connect since then.
I've been in contact with both Microsoft and Nintendo for a week now in regards to this issue and have gone through all the recommended troubleshooting steps of checking my internet status but the issue still remains despite my internet service working fine.
My Nintendo switch hardware is up to date, the Minecraft game is up to date (v1.20.81) and I have another family member in the same household that is able to connect to multiplayer online perfectly fine, but I cannot. We both have active Nintendo Switch Online Memberships. Also my Nintendo Switch friends can see me and are notified when I hop online but they are unable to connect to my Minecraft world and I am unable to join their Minecraft world.
I am also able to play other Nintendo games and connect to online multiplayer without any issue. I receive an error message immediately once I try to connect to online multiplayer only in Minecraft (see attached images)
I also completely deleted the Minecraft game, save data, cloud data and re installed everything to start fresh and the problem persists.
However I am able to play and connect locally just fine.
I have connected my Microsoft account to my switch version and also attempted to connect via cross-play invitation but still did not work and was met with the same error message attached below.
