Everytime I go to make a custom character, it ends up saving the character. No problem here. 
The problem happens when I exit minecraft and relaunch it. That character I just created just disappears as if I never created it in the first place, and instead replaces it with one of the characters from the Character List or a similar looking one not on the list.
