End gateways render strangely with respect to player movement compared to Java Edition

      The bug

When moving towards or away from an end gateway, the texture will appear to be emitted or absorbed from the corner of the end gateway block. This is unlike Java Edition.

      How to reproduce

      1. Kill the Ender Dragon (for some utterly asinine reason, placing end gateway blocks via setblock is meant to be impossible in Bedrock Edition: MCPE-38944)
      2. Move towards and far away from the generated end gateway

      Expected results

There wouldn't be a seam where the edge of the block is.

      Actual results

There is, and the starfield is sucked into it/barfed out of it, possibly depending on which corner you're moving with respect to.
