      Using Xbox One X.

In the game chat, the user is no longer able to scroll/cycle up to a previously sent message and select the text box to edit the message. This affects regular messages and commands.

This can particularly bad for commands that require small tweaks. For example, "/locate structure trial_chamber" has a typo (missing "s") and should be "/locate structure trial_chambers". You would previously use this functionality on Xbox to easily recover and correct the command, but it no longer works. However, you can still resend a message that has already been sent by scrolling/cycling to it and selecting send or the keybind for send.

      Steps to reproduce:

      1 Open chat

2 Send any message or command

3 Use the D-Pad up or external keyboard up arrow to scroll to previously sent message. The message will appear in the text writing/editing box at the bottom of the screen.

4 Press A to select the text box

      Expected behavior:

The message that was cycled to remains in the text box. The cursor shows up either on the far left or far right of the text box (was changed to left side recently, could be a related bug or bug fix)

      Actual behavior:

The message disappears. The cursor shows up in the text box, with either a blank box or any text that was written but not sent between steps 2 and 3.
