Soul Torch does not have a point light like other light similar sourcesĀ
Because the surface area of these items is little, they have a point light to make up for the lack of ability to make them bright enough through texture sets and PBR materials.
Items that fit this category have always had a point light in ray tracing graphics mode (i.e redstone torch, regular torches, lanterns)
However recently I've noticed soul torches lack the point light they previously had.
(I'm unable to pinpoint the update that caused this bug, I've only tested this on 1.20.73 Hotfix and 1.20.80.24 Preview so far, edit: tested 1.21.0.20 as well, issue persists)

You can use any texture pack to test bug, however the empty Ray tracing resource pack I've attached below allows you to clearly see there is no point light since there are no additional texture sets in this texture pack, all the light you see is from point lights alone.

      Expected results:
Soul torch should have a point light by default, even without any texture sets (as was the case before this bug was introduced in an update)
