Subject: Game Freeze Issue When Switching Audio Sources
Dear Minecraft Bedrock Support Team,
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to report a recurring issue that I have encountered while playing Minecraft Bedrock. The game consistently freezes whenever I attempt to switch audio sources during gameplay. Despite the freeze, the game does not crash completely, as I am still able to close it manually.
Issue Description:
- Game Version: [1.20.73]
- Device: [ gaming desktop]
- Operating System: [windows 11 22h2 ]
The game freezes when switching from one audio output source to another.
Reproduction Steps:
- Start Minecraft Bedrock.
- While in-game, switch the audio output from one source to another (e.g., from speakers to headphones).
- Observe that the game freezes.
Expected Behavior:
The game should continue to run smoothly without freezing, regardless of changes in the audio output source.
Actual Behavior:
The game freezes, but it allows for manual closure.
I have attempted the following troubleshooting steps without success:
- Running Minecraft as Administrator.
- Repairing the game via the Apps settings.
- Reloading sounds with the F3+T shortcut after switching audio outputs.
I believe this issue may affect other users as well and could significantly impact the gameplay experience. I would greatly appreciate it if you could investigate this matter and provide a resolution or workaround.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt response.
Best regards, [JV]
