In the Java edition, groups of monsters will make multiple attempts to spawn in different locations, but in the Bedrock edition, groups of monsters will only spawn in the same place and spread out, and monster will only attempt spawn once, resulting in a significantly lower probability of spawning monsters in the Bedrock edition than in the Java edition.
