On creative mode, after playing for a bit,  going into the inventory inverts the controls and makes buttons unresponsive. I can't click on items, or back out of my inventory. It still highlights the items as if I can pick them, but pressing the button does nothing. Pressing back does nothing. All I can do is move the cursor and mourn the building I had done. The only fix I've found is to exit out of the game entirely, with the progress I made on the build not saved. It'll happen again though, it does every time I play.

this happened in 1.20.71 as well. As soon as I updated, it broke. I tried again and again to play, but the glitch always appeared eventually. Sometimes within minutes, sometimes after half an hour. It seems random.

Later the glitch was fixed, but I don't know how because I didn't update it. Then 1.20.72 came out, and I postponed updating in fear of this bug. It's heart breaking when you make so much progress on a build and it's all deleted... but then I thought, it'll probably be fine. Surely the bug won't reappear. Right? Alas, it has. And now I am very sad. I love this game and hope it's resolved soon- or at least give me a way to save when this happens so I don't lose all the progress.

I make this post because I can't find anyone else online who experience the same bug. My friend also experienced it on her switch. I have a XKW switch and she has the OLED model. Neither are modded or anything like that, so I doubt it's out individual devices.
