Minecraft, after various means of trying to update it and the things around it (Xbox App, Minecraft Launcher, Microsoft Store, etc.) refuses to update. Mojang has said that they have paused the update because it has some issues concerning world loss. Someone in the comments section of another bug report for 1.20.70 gave a git hub link for the update 1.20.71. THIS IS NOT ENDORSED OR APPROVED BY MOJANG!!! Although, if you do not care about the possibility of world loss and whatever else Mojang warned about and you just want to play some Minecraft with your friends or on servers so that you are not outdated, then you can download the update from GitHub here. All you have to do is run it, and follow the instructions given by the updater. Thank you to the commenter on the other bug. although all comments besides mod comments were taken down on that bug.
