      Basic information

Minecraft Bedrock for Xbox provides support for mouse and keyboard gameplay.

Previously (or at least before 1.20.70) On-screen Mouse sensitivity could be changed on Keyboard & Mouse controls on Settings screen through the sensitivity slider. Now, as of 1.20.70, the slider is called "Camera Sensitivity" and it only apllies effects to sensitivity speed for the player's camera, instead of both camera and cursor speeds.

      Testing

      • 1. In the game's menu, go to settings/controls and change the "camera sensitivity" to 100.
      • 2. Go to any world and start to look around and look at the speed. (Very fast)
      • 3. Open your inventory and look at the speed of the cursor. (Very slow)

Basically, the slider used to affect both mouse speed for the cursor and camera on xbox. But now, it only affects to the camera gameplay, making travelling through the inventory/containers/menu/etc much more difficult due to the cursor speed not being balanced to the camera speed.

MCPE-179531 Also proves this post's purpose, but this one is more detailed.

Remember: this is about keyboard and mouse gameplay on Xbox.
