I am unable to modify minecraft:apple attributes, examples include changing the properties of the nutrition or saturation modifier. Below is a modified version.

After applying the modified version, the apple still keeps its original attributes of nutrition 4 and saturation "low"

Note: Although a bug was reported for this, the apple can still be eaten despite having full hunger.
