My son and I can no longer join each other when we create worlds.  We each have the same minecraft bedrock version 1.20.62, we have a very strong internet connection, and we are both on the same wifi.

I play on PC (windows 11 pro version 23H2) and he is on his iPad OS17.3.1  

When he makes a world on his iPad I am able to join between 1 to 5 seconds and then I get kicked.  I have an attached png that shows what happens after I am kicked from joining his world.

If I make a world on my PC he can't even get past the join screen. 

Please help
