When powering a piston(using a redstone torch in my case), the redstone torch on top of the piston will turn off. Let me explain why this is a bug (in case someone thinks that it is not): Firstly, pistons are non-solid blocks, so there are no reasons of the RS torch turn off. Secondly(a complicated version), even the piston is activated(powered through blocks), the RS torch should not appear unpowered even the piston is a solid block as the piston is only activated, not powered. See the photo below to find out the difference between powered and activated. Thanks for the photo from minecraft wiki.
