Many extremely dark areas immediately adjacent to brightly lit areas

      Minecraft PE v0.16.0
      Motorola Moto G4 Plus
      Android 6.0.1

Very often, especially in caves, there will be a very dark area right next to a lighted area, with a sharp boundary between them. Screenshots 1 & 2 show this from either side of the light/dark boundary.

Also, destroying some of the blocks on the dark side of the boundary does seem to allow some of the light into the dark area, as shown in shot 3

I see there have been reports similar to this before, but they were all with much older versions (0.9.*), and have been closed. Prior to 0.16.0, it would happen very rarely. But since 0.16.0, it seems to happen a lot, so this "feels" like something new.
