Around 30-50% of the time the game will freeze then immediately crash after going through portal from Nether back to Overworld. The 'Loading Resources' screen completes and the world begins to render and about 3-4 seconds after it starts rendering the game will freeze then crash. It will also freeze–>crash sometimes after teleporting. This crashing has never been observed when first starting a game.
Even when setting the chunk render distance as low as 32 it still crashes. Computer resource usage is always very low throughout game play. Total RAM usage for entire windows OS, background apps, and Minecraft never exceeds 9 GB.
This is for Bedrock Edition on single player.
Computer specs:
- i7-14700K (20 core, 28 logical cores)
- 32 GB of DDR5 RAM
- NVMe SSD for OS and game
- RTX 4070 ti
