Command blocks cant detect non-renamed items, this is when using the /testfor command or the /execute command, plz note this is when using the name= selector, when you do type=item, it works just fine. current outcome: when you put the command /testfor @e[type=item, name=blaze_rod] in a repeating command block on always active, it does not detect blaze rods when it is dropped on the floor, and says "No targets matched selector" this happens with every other item as well, this also happens with the /execute command. when you do this with a renamed item, however, it works.
Expected outcome: You put the command "/testfor @e[type=item,name=blaze_rod] into a repeating always active command block and it should give an output through a comparator when a blaze rod is dropped.
There is a video link here to show what happens: file:///C:/Users/charl/OneDrive/Minecraft%202023-12-31%2023-26-02.mp4
just copy and paste it into your browser
