My phone is the Galaxy S7 and the Minecraft version is the most recent Gear VR Edition version.

When going through a nether portal, the hotbar stops being centered in view and ends up being below wherever you are looking, this also disorients the controller and you don't walk where you should. Something that fixes this in-game is switching to Living Room Mode then back to VR Mode, but its still a very obstructive glitch even with this solution.

Other than that, you guys did a great job with Gear VR Edition, it's better than the MinecRift Mod for PC Edition.
