While I was mining I ate some cooked chicken to regenerate my hunger, when I switched back to my netherite pickaxe, my stack of chicken duplicated in its place and deleted it from my inventory. A similar event happened earlier when I was playing on a world with my friend and I used my spyglass and it deleted the water bucket in the hotbar slot when I went to switch items.
