On my Chromebook, it is not possible to join a local network game of Minecraft (initiated on a Windows 10 or Windows 11 computer) as long as the Chromebook is connected via Wi-Fi. However, this is possible as long as the Chromebook accesses the network via a LAN connection.

However, a local network game of Minecraft initiated by the Chromebook (both via a Wi-Fi and a LAN connection) is visible to the Windows 10 or Windows 11 computer and thus playable.

The Minecraft versions have the same version on both the Chromebook and the Windows system.

Since the problem occurs with a Wi-Fi connection from the Chromebook to the network, I'm assuming that this is where the corresponding error lies in the Minecraft codebase.
