PlayStation
I load my world , it plays, but when I save and exit, the world refuses to load. I have uninstalled, and reinstalled, does not help. I've cleared all saved files, and then copied them back , but the same thing happens. Have cleared all cache files on PlayStation 4, no difference.
Didn't have this problem before update to 1.20.41
Note: my world is now over1.2gb in size, and I noticed there are 2 saved files, 1 is 950 mb, and the 2 is 307. why are they split? I just rebuilt database on ps4, reinstalled Minecraft. Copied my world files back. Ran the first time. saved and exited, closed Minecraft. went back in to Minecraft, and again world fails to load. WTF!!!!!!!!!! I created a new world, only about 60 mb, that world saves to a single file. I also tried to make a copy of large world but that only copies to 40%, and then ends. the copied world doesn't load and corrupts world. So I have a saved copy of my world, but if I try to play it, It only works once, then refuses to load.
Today 2/17/24, this issue was tagged resolved, Why? Just linking the issue to another report having the same issue, is not solving the issue. Someone please take the initiative to actually solve the problem. All the reports of this issue are all linked to each other, that's not how to solve problem and mark as resolved. Stop worrying about new features, and actually fix the bugs in the game!
Today 2/22/24, Upgraded to PlayStation 5, Installed Minecraft, copied over all my saved games. The same issue is here, my 1.2gb world will only let me in once, then won't load. But now if I try to play 2 worlds while in the game, it crashes. I have to close Minecraft after I play a world, before I can load another.
