When I try to Auto Fill commands like / give or any other commands it doesn't work

I tried this on experimental and vanilla the problem is still there I tried to restart my console 

But in the end it won't work

On switch I have to move my d pad left to go down right to go up but it doesn't work now

How to replicate

Get on switch Minecraft 

Open chat 

Type /

Then try to Auto Fill on switch By moving the D pad left to right
