Galaxy S7 - not rooted

Uninstalled and reinstalled Minecraft PE from Google Play Store several times. Every time it downloads successfully, then when I open the app it crashes and shows this message:

"Unfortunately, Minecraft - Pocket Edition has stopped.
Report OK"

I have successfully submitted Reports many times now, but nothing has been fixed and I have not been contacted. It has been MONTHS. I pay monthly for a realm, but can't use it on my phone. Very frustrated obviously.

I used to own MPE and it worked fine. Can't pinpoint when problem started; definitely after I purchased and installed Oculus VR version of Minecraft. Perhaps after a system update on my phone.
