A previous ticket was opened by another user and subsequently closed because removing the feature (stated in the summary above) was a planned change.  Is this serious??  Does anyone within Mojang understood how tedious and upsurd the game becomes with this decision?!? I have adored this game for years...  It is a masterpiece to play and to share with others, and even more amazing to reflect on just how far this game has come over the years.

But for the first time in my history with this game, Mojang really missed the mark on this latest update.  The mob-generated lag will be fixed in time, I'm sure of it.  But couple that with intended removal of "tap-and-hold full stack crafting" on mobile devices, its the first time I have felt Mojang to be completely out of touch.  Does anyone actually play this game on the various devices it is marketed and sold on?

It took me 22 seconds yesterday create one stack of 64 red dye from beets.  It's in the video below.  No one wants to mess with a game whom's developers willingly seek to complicate the gaming experience.  Ya'll are capable of doing better, and you need to before the game is lost.
