Player was attempting to teleport to the end islands through a recently created end gateway following killing the dragon.  The player used an ender pearl to initiate the teleport. When the user threw the pearl, he instead was transported to the void at 0,0,0.  An hour before, this player and 15 other players successfully ender pearled through this end gateway. Please see the attached video. 

Note the user correctly aligns themselves so any errant throw winds up on the end island.  The pearl did not overshoot.

This game is hosted on a multiplayer server with a Hardcore resource pack.  This problem also occurs on another server that does not include the Hardcore resource pack.  I can provide both world download if needed.
