The bug
The /camera command can be used to detach the camera from the player. However, entities in the detached area don't render, only entities near the real physical player do. This kind of defeats the point of the camera command because if we need to physically move the player to match the camera, what's the point of detaching it at all? We want to keep the player safely far away from our cutscenes.
How to reproduce
1. Spawn some pigs
2. /camera @a set minecraft:free pos ~1 ~1 ~
3. /tp @a ~1000 ~ ~
Expected results
You can still see the pigs, since your camera is there
Observed results
The pigs disappear
