      Requirements:

      • Be in creative mode
      • Have elytra equipped

      Steps to reproduce:{}

      1. Begin gliding with elytra
      2. Double-tap jump to start flying

      Expected Results:

             Elytra gliding would be canceled, and the player would begin flying as normal.

      Observed Results:

             The player is put into a weird double state where:

      1. Attempting normal movement (like walking) doesn't do anything (as if still gliding)
      2. Holding jump or crouch moves the player up or down respectively, at speeds as if they were flying.
      3. The player does not move very fast vertically, even when looking straight up or down and using a firework rocket (it does have some affect though.)

      This prevents the player from ending elytra gliding by flying, as they don't transition between the states properly. It is very strange, and it can get very annoying.
