I used to create markers on maps by placing blocks of specific colors on the ground. Now I experienced that not the upper block is represented on the map, but a block below. I was not able to find a logic solution which block below is represented on the map. Sometimes it is working correctly and the block of the neighboring pixel on the map is displayed wrong. Even if the two blocks are placed on a flat surface.
steps to reproduce: (high probability){}
- Build a tower of five single blocks.
- Put a block with a different color on top.
- Look on map.
Observed results:
color representing the toplevel block is not correct, typically a block below is shown.
Expected results:
color representing the toplevel block should be shown.
Notes:
My world was created under version 1.19 and was updated to version 1.20.
I experienced the issue on level 4 maps.
