(Im Unsure if this is only on Switch)

Severall In game Effects like Shadows or Block outlines Cover up The Hotbar Icons and the Crosshair. I Believe this might happen due to the HUD Elements Layer beeing behind Shadows, Block outlines etc. I had no Recource Packs Installed.
