Nintendo Switch
Im having a problem with Minecraft not connecting on local network. Does anyone know something I can try to resolve this? From my perspective this issue just arose at random: one day they were connecting fine and then suddenly they weren't.
My sons both have a Nintendo switch (one lite one regular).
Steps to reproduce:
- The consoles are next to each other
- Both open Minecraft
- Both users select the 'connect to local network' on the main menu
- Console #1 enters a world
- Console #2 shows the friend online in the friend menu
- Console #2 clicks the world in the friends list.
Expected result:
- Console #2: enter the world
Actual result
- Console #2 shows a 'cannot connect to world.'
Notes:
- the game itself plays fine but if I exit the world to go back to the main menu, I get error code 2203-0032: 'communication error, try again later'
- It does not matter if console opens a world or console 2, it still shows the 'cannot connect to world' error.
- Both consoles run Minecraft 1.20.0 on system 16.0.3
