When returning back to my house from a mining trip I needed to leave the app so I existed the app needing to leave for about 30 minutes. When I returned I instantly heard damage sounds and was found back exactly where I was standing in my house but my inventory had vanished. I was super confused and upset by how I had lost 20 diamonds and an efficiently V mending pickaxe. I tried searching around for any trace of my stuff or mobs but it was still daytime and I was far enough in my house that my villagers were unharmed and there was no creeper damage. I had no idea the game could even run or was running since I had done this before and nothing has happened, infact I was taken back to the Minecraft menu with my world saved on past times I've done this. I'm still very unhappy how there is virtually no possible way of reversing this but I do hope in a future version that the game actually closes when I leave the app instead of continuing running a game I'm not playing. This really ruins my motivation and the enjoyment of playing, knowing my progress can be greatly halted without any warning.
Please correct this bug since I don't want the game to continue running without my acknowledgement.
