i am submitting this ticket on behalf of my S/O

we have a multiplayer world that we have spent months working on with a mutual friend, it was created on my S/O's switch. recently we have encountered an issue where neither i or our friend are able to join this world or any world on her end, and similarly she is unable to join any world on our ends (was tested on brand new worlds). 

the error screen my friend and i get is the generic "unable to connect connection timed out" screen, but when S/O tries to join our worlds she gets the message;

Unable to connect. Please restart your client. P2P/SIG: no_session(Expired Auth From Discovery)

this is not only our problem. we have been able to find posts from over 4 months ago regarding this issue that remain unsolved. here are a list of things we have tried that have proven not to be the solution:

• there is not a problem with her nintendo online subscription. she is able to play on the hive with no issues.
• there is not an issue with her wifi - it has occured on multiple wifi signals in completely different areas.
• there is not an issue with her switch - this issue has occured on both her switch lite and switch OLED. 
• there is not an issue with the game itself. she has deleted and re-downloaded it multiple times.
• it is not an issue of the world file size. as stated previously, this has been tried on brand new worlds on both ends and the same issue has come up.
• the latest update has not fixed the issue. we have tried on both the collaborative world and newly made worlds since the 1.20 update.

this is a massive let down to our enjoyment of the game. i really hope we can see this fixed soon.
