I was in newly generated chunks, and was exploring with level 3 locator maps. I noticed a black chunk on the map, and went to it. An area of four by four chunks are missing. You can place blocks, mine in it, and fall to the void. On an older copy of the world, the chunks load in the same location just fine. 
This world was created in (i think) the 1.17 beta, and I have updated and explored with each update. Since 1.19,  I have been on it at least once every one to two weeks for a while, and have explored mined and loaded chunks in 1.19 about 400 blocks away.
