While playing Minecraft on my phone, (it's an iPhone 7 Plus, I know it's outdated) I noticed that whenever I lock and unlock it, the phone, along with Minecraft, freezes and lags any input to a single frame, or just restarts the entire phone. I grabbed a few Analytics reports from my phone, but that's about it for what I found out about this issue.

EDIT: I decided to clarify what I meant. iOS suspends apps whenever they’re not in use. This is most likely what causes the issue, as Minecraft probably needs to load in all the resources over again, so the app crashes itself or the phone.
The effect is the most severe when I’ve been playing for a long time on a charger, where I’ve experienced my only system wide crash.

      Steps to Reproduce:

[Step 1] Open Minecraft and wait for it to load.
[Step 2] Enter any world or server.
[Step 3] Play for a bit and lock the device without pausing.
      [Step 4] Unlock it.

      What was supposed to happen:

The game unsuspends and continues playing.

      What actually happened:

The game freezes for about a minute or two, including the device.
