Summary:
Block placement on Sniffer Egg is inconsistent/doesn't match java.
No blocks requiring support (such as torches, buttons, levers...) should be placed on the vertical sides as these sides will not touch the block and the block will fly.
Only small blocks should be placed on the top and bottom sides as these sides are small. Below is a comparison list. At the moment, any block that requires support on any side can be placed on the Sniffer Egg, which I find to be incorrect.
A list comparing the placement of blocks on the top and bottom sides:
Block | Bedrock | Java |
---|---|---|
Buttons | ||
Redstone | ||
Redstone Repeater/ Comparator |
||
Rails | ||
Bell (top side) | ||
Scaffolding | ||
Levers | ||
Glow Lichen/ Sculck Vein |
||
Amethyst Cluster | ||
Weeping vines | ||
Pointed Dripstone | ||
Snow | ||
Doors | ||
Corals | ||
Torchs | ||
Lanterns | ||
Candles | ||
Pressure Plates | ||
Spore Blossom | ||
Hanging sign (lower side) |
Steps to reproduce:
- Place the Sniffer Egg.
- Compare the placement of blocks from the table with Java.
Observed results:
Placing blocks on a Sniffer Egg is not the same as in Java.
Expected results:
The placement of blocks on the Sniffer Egg will be the same as in Java (you can't place blocks like doors, redstone, but you can place Sea Pickles).
