Cherry blossom leaves do not have any change when within a cold climate biome while it snows unlike the other leaves. As of looking up for any live bug report already, I found one for azalea leaves but that is apparently intentional, but not sure if this is also intentional or hasn't been done yet as it's still a feature in development.
