Description:
When firing a rocket in Minecraft, the rocket slides on the ground instead of exploding on impact. This issue occurs regardless of when the rocket is fired from a rocket launcher. Additionally, the rocket passes through mobs, dealing no damage or knockback.
Steps to Reproduce:
Equip a rocket launcher
Aim at a block or mob
Fire the rocket
Expected Results:
The rocket should explode on impact, dealing damage and knockback to nearby blocks and mobs.
Actual Results:
The rocket slides on the ground and does not explode on impact. It also passes through mobs without dealing any damage or knockback.
Additional Information:
This issue occurs in both singleplayer and multiplayer modes, and with different types of rockets. Other projectile weapons, such as arrows and snowballs, work as intended. The issue persists even after restarting the game or reloading the world.
This bug severely impacts gameplay, making rockets ineffective as a means of combat. It also detracts from the overall immersion of the game, as explosions and projectile impacts are a key part of the Minecraft experience.
