I've found a strange bug relating to nether portals and beds.

I'm working on a project far from spawn, so I've got a nether portal for travel and a bed immediately next to it for skipping night (see attached image). I've been using both with no issues for some time now.

However, recently, upon entering the bed, the moment that time would normally change to day, I got the nether loading screen. It lasted quite a while longer than normal.

Even stranger, upon being warped to the nether, it wasn't where the portal normally took me; it was the same coordinates as where i was in the overworld, rather than 1/8th. Additionally, I fell through the floor onto a lower area, next to a lava lake. No portal was created near where i appeared in the nether.

I recreated the scenario in a creative world before switching to survival for testing, and discovered that it simply relied on walking into a portal and right clicking on a bed before the teleport completes. Not sure if this has been reported before since it's such a simple execution but I thought i'd make a post anyway.
