When putting the water in the magma block and soul sand, I took a sponge and did some tests.
Doing this I realized the water it completely loses its physics (as if it turned into a complete block). Note that when placing the first sponge block in contact with the water, the effect of the sponge sucking up all the water does not work.
If you look closely, the water that disappeared (after the first block of water) was not removed because of the sponge that sucked up the water but because of the sponge block that remained where the water was. Another reason to prove this is the texture of the sponge (which does not get wet).
Obs: To get better evidence I showed that I am not using barrier blocks and you can also observe the water particles entering and exiting the water at this stage.
Note: I changed the glass to show that it is not the block around it that causes the error, but the behavior of the water with the magma and soul sand blocks.
PS: the video is divided into 3 parts due to the size allowed on the site.
