Playstation 4, current update, no texture packs. 

Husband joined on split screen and after a few minutes I went to the Nether, then was stuck on "loading terrain". After waiting several minutes, we were forced to close Minecraft without saving since I couldn't even bring up the menu. 

Tried again. Husband joins split screen, after a few minutes playing, the autosave pops up and..... nothing. Icon remains there for nearly 5 minutes before he saves out to try to get the game to save. World still does not save. Close application, now stuck on "Saving world" screen and forced to close without saving again.

Previously, it was crossplatform causing this (children played via Pocket Edition on Samsung tablets) - that issue was bundled into someone else's bug but never resolved. None of us can play together on our own systems and we are getting quite frustrated with it.
