Yesterday (2023-01-07) I connected to a friend's world on their PS4 via LAN connection. We ran into lag and crash issues, so I attempted to reconnect via cross-platform play. That time, and every attempt since, my Switch has timed out when trying to connect to that or any other world on a PS4 edition of Minecraft. PS4->Switch connections work as expected, but Switch->PS4 connections have continued to be broken ever since.

      Both consoles have:

      • been restarted
      • reinstalled Minecraft,
      • reset network configurations
      • unlinked and relinked Microsoft accounts
      • removed and re-added the other account as a friend for Microsoft accounts.

The wireless network they're both on has also been reset, but the problem persists.

This may be related to the same root cause as https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MCPE-165811 as the expected and observed behaviors are the same, even if the platforms are different.
