In version 1.19.50, the new component "Variable_max_auto_step" was added that indicates how many blocks mob can step up without jump. The component has already been added to a camel and enderman. But mobs from the list (below) do not have it (These mobs can step up without jumping in Java).
In addition, the ability to step up without jumping should also have pigs and striders when a player ride to them.
Mobs that can step up one blocks without jumping in Java:
- Frog
- Axolotl
- Drowned
- Iron golem
- Llama
- Ravager
- Turtle
- Pig (when the player rides)
- Strider (when the player rides)
- Horse (when the player is not rides)
Steps to reproduce:
- Place any full block.
- Summon a mob from the list above.
- Push the mob to the block.
\For a pig and strider: Sit on a mob, control mob, climb the placed block.\
Observed results:
Mob cannot step up when you push it.
Pig and strider step up using jumps.
Expected results:
Mobs step up block without the use of jumps.
