When writing in a book & quill, the profanity filter trigger seems much more sensitive, and blocks many words which are allowed on signs. This is a single player game, not on Realms. Note that the words which trigger this seem to be words which are banned by Nintendo Switch, and not Minecraft.

      Steps to Reproduce:

      1. From the list below, write one of the words on a sign. Save, and the word will appear on the sign.
      2. Write the same word in a book & quill.
      3. Attempt to save out of the editing dialogue.

      Observed Results:
The profanity dialog will be raised and the book page will be completely blank. (I've logged MCPE-164943 for the book being blank rather than redacting the offensive word)

      Expected Results:
Words which can be written on signs should not trigger the profanity filter in the book & quill.

      Words which trigger this:

      • kill
      • grape
      • slave
      • covid

      Notes:
The combination of this bug and MCPE-164943 makes for a very frustrating user experience attempting to write lore / keep notes.
